The deliveries of the Suzuki Hayabusa Superbike have started across India. Suzuki has started the process of sending motorcycles to dealers across the country, which in turn will be passed on to customers.
It is quite interesting to note that, the first batch of Suzuki Hayabusa has already been sold in India.
3Third The generation of Hayabusa was launched on 26 April 2021 in India at a price of Rs 16.40 lakh.
Some interesting features about superbikes are mentioned below:
The new Hayabusa packs a 1340cc four-cylinder engine similar to its predecessor but the interior parts have been changed. Changes include new lighter pistons, new connecting rods and reworked fuel injectors. The power of the vehicle has been reduced from 197hp to 190hp while peak torque remains at 150Nm.
The wheels of the aircraft
The bike retains the twin-spar aluminum frame of the old bike. The bike has a 1480mm wheelbase which is the same as the old model. However, Suzuki has reduced the curb weight, seat height and ground clearance of the bike. The new Hayabusa weighs 264kg, seat height 800mm and ground clearance 120mm.
As per the video released by Suzuki, the design of the vehicle is as iconic as its previous version. However, the strong crease on the bike gives it a modern look.
The electronics installed in the new version of the bike has received a huge boost compared to its previous generations. The new model gets a new LED headlamp, a six-axis IMU (inertial measurement unit) with a new TFT display. The new model also offers ten levels of traction control, ten levels of anti-wheelie control, and three levels of engine brake control, three power modes, launch control, cruise control, cornering ABS and hill hold control.
